Key Stage 1 and 2
Animation is a brilliant and innovative way to encourage children to communicate stories, ideas and concepts in a creative and original way. It can be particularly useful as a tool to encourage the creativity of learners who find spelling and grammar a challenge because it liberates them from the anxiety of always worrying about technicalities and enables them just to concentrate on the story instead.
Key Stage 2 Animations
Pupils in Key Stage 2 explored a range of media and digital techniques to create these wonderful animations. They created their own characters and animated using various Apps and digital software. All took part in the stop motion animation and creating/recording the dialogue, music and sound effects.
