About Blue Monkey Animation
Welcome to our new website, please note it is still under construction.
Blue Monkey Animation would like to come into your school and help create exciting and innovative work through the medium of animation. We are able to work in 2D and 3D formats and introduce a range of different programs in order to both train teachers and pupils to develop a legacy of skills with their own schools resources.
Through animation schools are able to cover many aspects of the new Digital Competency Framework (DCF) while also addressing key areas of the Literacy, Numeracy Frame work (LNF). Most of all animation in the classroom will help engage, motivate and stimulate childrens' imagination and help to improve pupil well-being.
When the work is produced there is ample opportunity to use this as practical evidence for Estyn and school development, while also offering a unique showcase for your pupil talents via uploading to the web and public showings.
With over 20 years experience as an Art Teacher in KS3-5 and working with The Arts Council of Wales, Creative Schools Project (KS2) there is a wealth of experience to draw upon. All DBS checks are portable and up to date.
Story Board
Story boards will encourage planning and develop thinking skills.Literacy both written and visual are also challenged.
2D and 3D
A range of different animation techniques can be explored using both 2D and 3D media .
Develop I.C.T skills
Your pupils will have a chance to explore a range of apps and programs in order to produce their animation. There is also a chance to utilise your own software and equipment to help make the most of your own resources.
